Las Cruces police will conduct at least two sobriety checkpoints and two saturation patrols within city limits during the month of January.

Effective immediately, alcohol will no longer be served or sold at the Sportspark.
Please join us this next Monday at the County Commissioners meeting as we advocate for decreased alcohol access at the County Sportspark. Your attendance will show that there is community support to restrict the availability of alcohol at the park.

We are very thankful for your support in helping us conduct the SportsPark survey on the serving of alcohol at the park. We were able to reach a total of 902 responses.
According to the results 64% of people agreed that is not a good idea to serve alcohol at the SportsPark.
We will be sharing the results with the County Commissioners on Monday, September 11th. This is a great opportunity to advocate for family friendly environments that contribute to reductions in underage drinking, binge drinking, and associated harms. We hope that you can join us at the meeting and if you are interested in speaking in favor of banning alcohol at the park, let us know so that we can coordinate a meeting next week to discuss talking points.
