During this difficult time, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is very blessed to have the support and love from the El Paso Community.

Throughout the year, the Sheriff’s Office partners with schools in the unincorporated areas of El Paso, to provide assistance for the students and their families, with projects such as kite donations, shoes, school supplies, blanket donations, Thanksgiving food baskets, and Christmas toys.

On September 14, 2020, with the help of the Sheriff’s Foundation and our crafter Mrs. Michelle Reza, the Sheriff’s Office Community Services Section visited 55 classrooms at Fabens Elementary School and distributed 100 handmade masks to students from grades Pre-K to 3rd.

Mrs. Reza is the wife of one of our deputies assigned to the Traffic/Motors Section and quickly stepped in to help with our project.

Each mask was made with love, care, and fun designs for the little ones to stay safe.
