SOUND OF REVEILLE!
Apache Troop is raising our national colors this morning at 1st Armored Division Headquarters.
NIGHT QUALIFICATION!
Before conducting night qualification Apache Troop conducted borelighting procedures with 1-35AR firers. The borelight is an accurate means of zeroing their laser aiming equipment to their weapon without the use of ammunition. Time and effort must be applied to ensure a precise zero. Firers gain confidence in their night vision devices and their zeroed laser to effectively engage targets.

COACH, MENTOR, & MOTIVATE!
Today Apache Troop facilitated Crew Served Weapons Qualification for 1st Battalion, 35th Armored Regiment. Each firing position has a trained and certified safety that coaches, mentors, and motivates the firer. SSG Otero Perez and SPC Cody Armijo, both from our 1st Platoon, provided support to qualify SPC Kayla Crawford of G Co, 1-35AR.
Apache Troop strives to provide the best service and conditions to qualify firers.

Simulation Gunery Table XII
CLOSE COMBAT TACTICAL TRAINER!
For the last two weeks, Apache Troop has been taking advantage of the available virtual training resources here on Fort Bliss. Bradley crews from first and second platoon began their virtual training at the Fort Bliss Close Combat Tactical Trainer.
Each platoon executed a simulated Gunnery Table XII, which is a platoon level evaluation of their collective tasks. The primary purpose of this training is for new crews formed as a platoon to learn how to talk to each other and higher headquarters while assaulting an objective.
Watch the video of 1st Platoon in action as they get their first evaluation from the commander and first sergeant after spending four hours of repetitions.

1st Platoon PT with the Commander
SGT Alverson from 2nd Platoon shot a sharpshooter qualification on the M9 pistol.
Apache is out on the range today! SPC Connor from 2nd Platoon qualified sharpshooter with a M9 pistol.
This week our very own 1st Platoon from Apache Troop ran a TOW Missile Range for 9 crews across the Squadron. The crews used a telescopic sight to view a point on the target and then fire the missile while continuing to view and track the target through the sight. Good job to 1st Platoon for running a successful range!
