Tonight, El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank lights the Star on the Franklin Mountains orange in observance of Hunger Action Day. Hunger Action Day is a nationwide call to turn awareness into action, and right here in the Borderplex, there is meaningful work being done every day to address food insecurity in our community. 🧡

If you’d like to get involved and support hunger relief efforts in El Paso, we encourage you to reach out to your local food bank and community organizations to learn how you can help.

Helping neighbors access food takes more than one moment, one donation or one organization. It takes people across our community working together.

This Hunger Action Month™, we're celebrating the collective impact made possible through Walmart and Sam's Club's Fight Hunger. Spark Change. campaign. Thanks to shoppers, associates, suppliers, food banks and community partners, $55,792.87 was raised to support our neighbors here in El Paso.

But that impact goes beyond campaign dollars.
These investments support the work that helps families in our community access food year-round. That means every donation helps power every food pickup, volunteer shift, and delivery right here at home.
Thank you to everyone who helped make a difference at Walmart Supercenter #964.

Members came together to purchase, pack, and distribute much-needed toiletries for our neighbors and to help fill bags for our Noche de Estrellas Gala. Your dedication to serving our community does not go unnoticed, and we're so grateful for partners like you who show up in such meaningful ways.
