The 32d Army Air and Missile Defense Command (AAMDC) is a theater level Army air and missile defense multi-component organization. We are one Team of highly disciplined and trained Warriors who plan, coordinate, integrate, synchronize, and execute Joint or Combined Theater Air and Missile Defense operations in Central Command. Our Mission Command is nested amongst DoD and our Allies from Tactical to Strategic levels.
Today, 32d AAMDC HHB hosted a change of command ceremony for outgoing Commander Capt. Eric Liebig and incoming Commander Capt. James Bergeman.
Congratulations gentleman, we wish the best of luck for both of you on your future endeavors!

Today, 32d AAMDC in conjunction with local El Paso based Army recruiters hosted a public outreach event at Chapin High School. The event was focused on highlighting Air Defense Artillery capabilities and what it's like to serve in the United States Army. Brig. Gen. Richard Harrison and Command Sgt. Maj. Raymond Belk engaged with students including Junior Reserve Officers' Training Course (JROTC) cadets. We are thankful for the support from El Paso based Army recruiters and the static Patriot Missile Launching Station displays provided from 3-43 ADA "The Legion".

The 2023 impaired driving national enforcement mobilization "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" goes into effect across the country from August 16 to September 4, 2023. One of the deadliest and most often committed - yet preventable - of crimes (impaired driving), has become a serious safety epidemic in our country.
Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over focuses on law enforcement and their goal to stop drunk drivers. This campaign highlights a constant police presence searching for drunk drivers as a way of deterring people from drinking and driving.

On today's , Lt. Col. Michael J. Predny, the 3-43 ADA "The Legion" commander, shares his views on how life has changed in Air Defense and the Army from when he first commissioned to now.
"The installation provides more services than it used to in terms of Army community service, family advocacy and installation resources," said Predny. "The support that's available is far greater than it was when I was a young officer, and it's important that we as leaders have some avenue of communication to the Soldiers and their families to broadcast what's out there, and what resources are available.
"In terms of the amount of investment that the Army has put into its Soldiers, that has changed significantly. We have the same expectations of our Soldiers that a professional team would have of their athletes, but the Army had never made that same investment into actually coaching and training, but with H2F they now have access to coaches and therapists to help them stay physically ready and catch back up to their peers."

Today, 32d AAMDC, HHB Hatchet Battery held a Change of Responsibility Ceremony bidding farewell to outgoing first sergeant, 1st Sgt. Derrick Lee, and welcoming incoming first sergeant, 1st Sgt. Javier Saucedo.
Farewell 1st Sgt. Lee, it was an honor to serve with you and we wish you much luck as you move onto the Sergeants Major Academy!
1st Sgt. Saucedo, we look forward to your tenure and the many great things to come under your guidance!
