CASFV was incorporated in 1977 as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization governed by a board of directors serving the tri-county area of El Paso, Hudspeth, and Culberson counties. Guiding CASFV in its mission to confront and prevent domestic violence in all its forms by advocating for safety and justice through intervention, education, and community collaboration is Executive Director, Sandra Nevarez Garcia. To this end, CASFV addresses family needs in times of emergency and works to rebuild families by providing the needed guidance and resources to put them back on the road to a healthy recovery.

CASFV is collecting Halloween donations so everyone in our community can join in the fun this year. We're especially in need of items for teen boys and girls, who are often overlooked during costume drives.

We're accepting:
Costumes for teen boys and girls
Wigs, hats, masks, capes, and wings
Props like wands, crowns, and toy shields (no realistic-looking weapons, please)
Makeup, face paint, and jewelry
Candy of all types

Donation cutoff date: October 20th

Drop-off location:
580 Giles Rd.
El Paso, TX 79915
Monday–Thursday, 8 a.m.–6 p.m.
Friday, 8 a.m.–12 p.m.

SAVE THE DATE: October 15th

This Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we're asking El Paso to help us Change the Track, End Violence.

On El Paso Giving Day, every dollar you give to CASFV helps us unlock a $25,000 match, which means your gift could go twice as far for survivors and their children right here in our community.

A $50 gift = a welcome kit for a family escaping abuse
A $100 gift = a week of healing support groups for kids at our shelter
A $175 gift = a full day of safety for a family at our emergency shelter

Survivors don't choose the abuse written into their story, but together we can help them change the track.

What a GAME DAY! 🛼🔥

This past Saturday, we had the opportunity to join the excitement at the El Paso vs. Juárez & North Texas Derby at Nations Tobin Recreation Center! 🖤

Our casfv team was out there connecting with the community, sharing resources, and cheering on some incredible roller derby action. 💜

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table to say hello and learn more about the work we do in our community. And a huge shoutout to El Paso Roller Derby for bringing another amazing event to El Paso! 🛼✨
