Meet Alessandra Vasquez she is the 2020-2021 President of Accounting Society. She is a junior majoring in Accounting and minoring in legal reasoning. After graduating she plans on pursuing her dreams and going to law school. She is also in WBA, SGA, AXID, Mock Trial, Honors Program, and on UTEPs Policing Committee.
Fun Fact: She got her Associates Degree at just 17 years old!!

Meet Vanessa Salazar she is the Vice President for Accounting Society. She is a Senior pursing her Accounting degree and the ERP Certification. She has 3 years of non-profit experience in accounting. She wants to expand her education and have a diverse background to help out the community. She is currently debating whether to go to law school or go towards an MBA.
Fun fact: She is the Treasurer for the University Honors Council.

Meet Erika Casiano she is the 2020-2021 treasurer for Accounting Society. She is currently a Senior pursuing her major in Finance and minor in the ERP Certificate. Currently, she works as a pharmacy tech at a local hospital.

Paige Dorsey is the 2020-2021 Secretary for Accounting Society. She is currently a senior pursuing her major in Accounting with a minor in Finance. Her next to get her Masters of Accountancy to eventually obtain her CPA certification in Texas. Currently, she is the head tutor for the accounting department at UTEP.
Fun fact: loves to study in her spare time.

Meet Destiny Rodriguez she is the 2020-2021 Community Service Chair for Accounting Society. She is currently pursuing a Double Major in Accounting and Finance. She aspires to complete a Masters in Accounting and become a CPA. Last Fall, she did a Study Abroad semester in France and this semester she will be working as a full-time Accounting Intern for Commonwealth Fusion Systems while being a full-time student.
Fun fact: She enjoys participating in Community Service activities because it is a great way to give back to the community and help those in need.

Meet Samantha Gonzalez she is the 2020-2021 Professional Development Chair for Accounting Society. She is a Senior working towards her major in Accounting and a minor in Operations Supply Chain Management.
Fun fact: she was a Bio Med major before switching to Accounting, and she is a huge Disney fan.
Meet Chelsea Lopez she is the 2020-2021 Marketing Chair for Accounting Society. She is a Senior, and majoring in Accounting with a minor in Computer Information Systems. She aspires to complete her Bachelors, go for a Masters in Accounting, and become CPA certified. During the summer she completed an internship with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Upon completion of her internship she was extended an offer to return Summer 2021 as an External Audit Intern. Fun fact: She is 5 months pregnant expecting her first child.

Hi members! Sorry I haven’t been posting, but here is a memory from February 22nd. We were volunteering for untied way and was able to help out at the STEM Con at the Fabens High School. We helped build makeshift cars out of cards,straws, tape, balloons (as the engines) and bottle caps. Also, we were helping at two other stations one being a build community and the other building sling shots out of popsicle sticks. It was so much fun helping them create things with simple materials.
Hi members sorry for the lat post but through back Tuesday! Our members volunteered at the El Paso supported living. As you scroll —> you can see that they were helping to organize and sort clothing! Thank you to all that participated! @ El Paso State Supported Living Center

Hi Members, don’t forget to sign up for this Saturday, February 22nd Community service event! It’s called STEMCon at Fabens High School from 9:30-12. We will be doing logistics. Logistics consist of crowd control, taking photos, and getting participants to do a short survey. We will be going to the Wl Paso supported living center to organize and separate clothing or other items in their storage. This event is from 9am to 1pm. We would also like to congratulate Mrs. Joceline! She also graduated this past Saturday! She has been a member of our for a year ! She even received recognition for completing the most community service last spring! We will miss you and wish the best in any future endeavors.

Hi Member’s! Sorry we went MIA it’s been a crazy finals week! I just wanted to share with you guys our last semesters meeting. We had so much fun! We held our last community event for the semester, played games, and gave out certificates for our most outstanding members! So we’d like to recognize: Member of the 2019 fall semester Alfredo Villordo, Most Community Service hours Vanessa Salazar, and Most Professional Development hours Evelyn Gomez. Thank you all who came to each meeting this semester, and took the time to volunteer at our community service events, and going to professional development events too. It’s been an amazing semester! Hope to see you all next year!!!
Attention! Tomorrow will be our LAST meeting! We won’t be have a guess speaker because I don’t know about you, but I would love to just have some fun and destress for finals next week! Also to get you all in the spirit we will be having a Christmas themed meeting. We will be having food (of course), games, and PRIZES!! You don’t want to miss out on these prizes as they will be beneficial to you for finals week! Also, as a reminder tomorrow is the last day you can turn in your donations to receive community service hours. If you are close to completing your hours or have been to busy to attend the community service events. I highly recommend that you participate as it’s the easiest way to get those hours! If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to reach out! See you all tomorrow same time 3:00pm and in room 331!!!
Hi members! As you may know we will be having our last community service event! This will be a donation drive to Center Against Sexual and Family Violence. This is a family shelter located in El Paso, their mission is to provide hope to families in need of shelter due to family violence and/or sexual abuse. In order to receive hours you will have to donate 4 items and in return you will receive one hour. Exceptions include: diapers, baby clothes, packets of toilet paper (has to be 4 rolls or more), these items will count as 30 minutes. Please be aware and keep in mind that the maximum amount of hours will only be 4. So if your missing hours this will be a great opportunity. The last day that we will be collecting is tomorrow at our last monthly meeting. So hope to see you there! @ UTEP College of Business Administration Undergraduate Programs
