EPSO Rangemaster Justin Martinez & Deputy Mario Avila will be competing in the 2021 Tactical Games in Cresson Texas this June 💪

"The Tactical Games were created to provide a platform to test the skills and readiness of tactical athletes from all backgrounds. The Tactical games provides a venue for all shooters and athletes to compete against the best in the world to find weaknesses and test gear in the most stressful environment a competition can offer."

"This competition would offer us the opportunity to represent our officers and deputies as a whole in a competition against the best military, LEOs, and competitive shooters."

Thank you for your support!

Today is a hard day. It’s a hard day for all of us in the EPCSOA. It’s an even harder day for Deputy Herrera’s family left behind. We lost our hero 2 years ago today. We honored you today and ensured that your memory will carry on long after we’re gone. Thank you for serving and protecting our community. Rest in paradise Deputy Peter J. Herrera #4928. The EPCSOA assisted CIS Coordinator Gabriela Gallegos and Ricardo Estrada Middle School by purchasing a freezer to be used for the school and community.

Thank you so much for your generous donation to Communities in Schools for Ricardo Estrada Middle School.

With your help, we will be able to provide food assistance to our families in the community who are in need of this type of support. Families will be able to come in and shop around in our mini-market and grab not only food, but also items such as toiletries, diapers, wipes and much more.

This project will also help students who are in need of volunteer hours for school and will provide them with the opportunity to learn how to conduct an intake, sharpen up their customer service skills, and become comfortable working in a collaborative environment.

Deputy Omar Gonzalez and the El Paso County Sheriff's Officers Association, as you can see, your contribution is very important to our most important people, the community we serve. It’s important to me, too. Your ongoing commitment to our kids and families truly means the world, and we really couldn’t have done this without you, thank you truly for making this vision a reality!

Respectfully,
Gabriela Gallegos
CIS Coordinator
Ricardo Estrada M.S.

Fantastic day helping vaccinate people in Tornillo, Fabens and El Paso’s Mission Valley. Thank you County Judge Ricardo Samaniego for helping us fight to get more vaccine equity to the outskirts of the county! Special thanks to Rio Grande Council of Governments, ESD #2 Fire Chief and crew, Constables, deputies, US National Guard and all the volunteers who made 800 shots available to our people today. Much more work to do!

We are completely heartbroken to announce that we are mourning one of our own again. Officer Mitchell Penton #11654 was recently married and soon to be a father. He became a peace office to help others and to keep the citizens of Dallas safe.

On 2/13/2021 he was assisting with traffic control on a vehicle collision on a Dallas highway when he was fatally struck by an intoxicated driver.

Officer Mitchell Penton your sacrifice and dedication will never be forgotten.

May you Rest In Peace Brother, We have the Watch.
