H2F Tuesday!
🥱 Feeling tired and not sleeping 7-9 hours each night???
💤 Tactical napping is a technique used to restore and sustain Warfighter readiness and performance.
💭 It involves brief periods of sleep that can be taken in safe, comfortable, and quiet spaces.
🌙 Tactical napping is recommended in deployed environments when regular sleep is not available. However, napping can benefit us both in Garrison and in deployed environments.
😴 Take advantage of the time you have during the day and follow these napping tips from your Bulldog H2F Sleep Readiness Team!

Happy Thursday Bulldogs!
Our H2F Injury Control team offers treatment for musculoskeletal injuries.
As a reminder, we offer a walk-in sick call from 0800 – 0900 every weekday where we evaluate any recent injuries.
Our providers work hard to treat injuries in the clinic as well as provide Soldiers with home exercise programs to continue care and optimize return to duty.
To be seen by our providers, you must be screened by Battalion Medics and be referred to the H2F clinic at Building 20465 during our walk-in sick call hours.
Please arrive to sick call between 0745–0800 for sign-in and medical review.

🚨Bulldogs of the Week🚨
Meet this weeks Bulldogs of the Week, SGT Knowles and SPC Salinas with 2-13 CAV. The D882 Crew, SGT Knowles and SPC Salinas made exceptional contributions to EUCOM outload operations by moving NMC vehicles through DRRF and onto rail. Their efforts extended beyond just the Squadron, as they also assisted other Battalions. In all, they moved over 20 NMC vehicles through the nodes, significantly increasing SQDN and BDE throughput. Their hard work and contributions were vital in helping deployment operations get back on track to meet mission requirements. Check out the video below to see what advice they gave.

🥦 H2F on Nutrition and Weight Management 🥩
The focus of the Army Body Composition Program (ABCP) is to have an effective assessment of the holistic health and fitness of our force while providing Soldiers with resources they need to improve and preserve individual and unit readiness.
The bulldog nutrition team offers a weight management class taught by our Registered Dietitians every Wednesday at 1000 in the H2F footprint at Building 20465. This class meets the requirement of meeting with a dietitian for those Soldiers flagged and enrolled in the ABCP.
This class takes a holistic approach to education by incorporating all domains of H2F with the intent to enable Soldiers to improve and maintain optimal well-being and performance!
If you are enrolled in the ABCP or have goals to improve body composition, sign up for our weight management class through Visibook at visibook.com/bulldogh2f 🐾

💊 Dietary Supplement Safety 💊
The Bulldog H2F Nutritional Readiness team aims to conduct monthly turf talks to educate Soldiers on performance nutrition.
This month, our focus is on dietary supplement safety.
Dietary supplements are not approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) before they reach the market, and the use of harmful or prohibited dietary supplements pose significant risks for service members. Our mission is to provide evidence-based information about dietary supplements to ensure Soldiers across the Bulldog Brigade are taking steps to ensure they are choosing safer supplements.
Step 1: Identify a supplement by checking that the label on the product is a supplement facts label.
Step 2: Ensure product contains a third-party certification seal, meaning an independent manufacturing company has verified its quality and manufacturing process. The 4 vetted third-party certification programs include BSCG Certified Drug Free, Informed Sport, NSF Certified Sport, and USP Verified.
Step 3: Compare ingredients against the DoD Prohibited List found at OPSS.org.
For more information, please reach out and connect with the Nutritional Readiness team located at Building 20465, Gulf Victory Way!

‼️BULLDOG OF THE WEEK‼️
‼️BULLDOG OF THE WEEK‼️
The Bulldog of the Week is SGT Rodriguez from Reaper Company 2BEB. He’s done an amazing job filling the role as PSG for both A & O Platoons. He’s taken on several additional duties to include barracks manager for Reaper Company and was the barracks manager for the BN while NTC was executed. As a 12B he has had to learn a lot about 12N equipment while also covering down as the Ops NCO. SGT Rodriguez completed both the IHMEE and JAB fielding for Reapers Company and then decided to lead a class on the IHMEEs and JABS for the new 12N Soldier. He is a valued member of the team and a great role model in the formation!
