⛰️ Our students are discovering that learning happens everywhere, even outside.

The “Jump and Touch” sign on our playground features famous peaks like Everest, Annapurna, McKinley, Shasta, and Hood, each marked with its elevation. It is a fun way for students to stay active while being reminded of just how grand and incredible our Earth truly is.

Our students had a wonderful time participating in Red Ribbon Week, learning about the importance of making safe and healthy choices.

Through fun activities and meaningful discussions, they discovered why living drug free helps them stay focused, strong, and ready to reach their goals.

Welcome to our PBIS Matrix, a super helpful guide that shows our students the way to shine every day. It lays out the rules and expectations that help keep our school a positive, respectful, and safe place for everyone. You will spot these bright posters in every classroom and all around campus, reminding us all to be our best selves together.
Our students recently took part in a Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) rollout, where we came together to review our school rules and expectations. Each student learned what it means to be respectful, responsible, and safe both in and out of the classroom. We also introduced our reward system that celebrates positive choices throughout the year. By showing kindness, effort, and responsibility, students can earn rewards that recognize their growth and good decisions.

Let’s work as a team to make this the best year ever. As Eagles, we soar!

🚂 All Aboard for Adventure!

Our K–4 students are heading out on a field trip to the Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad on Wednesday, October 22.

Please note that students will return to school after dismissal at 4:00 p.m.

We are looking for at least two parent chaperones to join us and help make this trip possible. If you are an approved chaperone and available to assist, please reach out to your child’s teacher.

We cannot wait for a day full of learning, exploration, and fun!

There is so much excitement for learning happening in Mr. Marcis’s class. Students are diving into lessons, asking questions, and supporting one another as they grow in knowledge and confidence.

🌲 Project Pluton Field Trip
Our first Project Pluton field trip with NatureBridge for grades 3 through 6 is coming up on October 14.

Families should have already completed the NatureBridge registration form online. If you are unsure about this, please reach out to Mr. Marcis or Ms. Ouborg.

School district permission slips for this trip will be sent home soon. We are excited for this meaningful learning experience in nature.
