The first foal at Pine Valley Ranch was born this weekend!! A very special little filly out of my mare Fallena and by Hersheys Sandstone of Valhalla !! Both mare and foal are healthy and doing great.

Fun fact: my big pinto is actually not my favorite saddle horse in my string. My go to using horse is actually my little red mare! She doesn't get the spotlight like the pinto does, but when there's a job to be done I'm saddling her up.
Currently she's got a different job and I've got a very special surprise coming this spring!!

If you have ever sent me your horses or talked to me about horses you know how big of a believer I am in getting horses out and letting them learn without the safety net of a round pen or an arena.
This little mare has less than 10 rides on her and while she learns her riding cues she is also learning how to use those cues in real world scenarios.
