New beach planks were installed on Elberta Beach just before July 4th. Funds raised from sales support beach maintenance and improvements. Planks are $50. You can still place orders using the form found on the Village website: https://villageofelberta.com
Any planks purchased for the remainder of the year will be placed on the beach next year.

The Village of Elberta is seeking a detail-oriented Utility Billing Clerk to manage utility accounts, billing, customer service, payments, deposits, meter records, and related administrative duties. Strong computer, communication, and organizational skills required. Experience in office administration, finance, bookkeeping, or utility billing preferred. BS&A experience a plus. Valid Michigan driver's license required.

VILLAGE OF ELBERTA – REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Rental Management Services – Elberta Life Saving Station

The Village of Elberta is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or firms to provide event management, booking coordination, marketing, and client communication services for the Elberta Life Saving Station, a historic waterfront venue.

The scope includes marketing and promotion, managing the booking calendar, coordinating contracts with the Village Clerk, maintaining communication with renters, and providing pre‑event support. The Village will continue to maintain the building and grounds and handle payments and contract storage.

Proposals must include a cover letter, relevant experience, proposed approach, fee structure, availability, and references.

A one‑year contract with an option to renew will be awarded. Submit proposals to: [email protected]

Join the Friends of the Elberta Dunes Natural Area (EDNA) on Sunday, May 17th at 10am to help remove garlic mustard and some other debris. Wear closed shoes and bring gloves.
