In celebration of America’s 250th birthday, Alabama’s Semiquincentennial Schools program challenges students to deepen their civic understanding and critical thinking. In pursuit of this honor, our History department partnered with Art teacher Mrs. Cordon to host an American History Art Competition.

Twelve students submitted moving, powerful pieces, and the top three walked away with cash prizes generously sponsored by Sweet Meltdown of Elberta.
