The Mid Mon Valley Transit Authority (MMVTA) invites you to participate in a public survey to seek input on how service can be improved to best meet your needs.
This survey is the first public engagement activity offered through the Mid Mon Moves project. This important initiative is focused on evaluating the ten bus routes served by the MMVTA and considering new possibilities for our local transit network. Our goal is to improve transportation options for everyone in the Monongahela Valley by gathering input from community members like you on your needs and priorities; reviewing our fare structure; and refining routes and schedules to best address ridership needs.

Today’s the day! The parade will start in Stockdale at noon and end at the ballfield in Elco. Take your flags and all go out and support our veterans!

This Saturday: with the Veterans Day Parade in our area this year, Parking will be off limits for Railroad Street in Stockdale, Railroad Street in Stroall Acres, Furlong Avenue in Roscoe, & First Avenue in Elco from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM. Please bear with us as we honor our Veterans and enjoy the parade!

We would like to take a moment and thank resident & former council member for his service. Nunzio Santo Columbo served as Elco’s representative on the Mid Mon Valley W.P.C.A. (Sewage Authority) for several decades. He notified council of his intent to retire. Thank you Nunzio, & enjoy your well deserved retirement!
