Our First Responders are amazing in Camden and Miller Counties, but they sometimes could use a little help. The mission of the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is to learn the basic skills needed to respond to the community’s immediate needs in the aftermath of a disaster, when emergency services are not immediately available OR to provide support to emergency service providers. The City of Eldon Fire Department will begin flushing water mains and fire hydrants throughout the city starting Wednesday, April 15th. The flushing process will start in the northern areas and move south, progressing from east to west until the work is complete.
Residents are advised to use caution when doing laundry during this time, as water may appear discolored or cloudy due to temporary disturbances in the system caused by the flushing. This discoloration is harmless and should clear up shortly after the flushing in your area is complete.
We appreciate your understanding and patience as we perform this important maintenance to ensure the continued quality and reliability of our water system.
