Come celebrate with us! Starting on Friday night October 3, The Eldorado Springs Art Center will begin three days of celebrating a quarter-century of making art. Twenty-five years ago, Giuseppe Palumbo had an opportunity to turn the run-down Dale's Volvo Repair at 8 Chesebro Way, Eldorado Springs, into a vibrant center of art-making. Fast-forward to today, when the rusted hulks of cars have been replaced by sculptures, and the building itself has undergone many modifications, and tenants who specialize in a variety of artistic mediums, round out the vibe.

While also making the center a nexus for art-making, the Art Center has also served as a community space for gatherings and events, providing an aesthetic counterpoint to Eldorado Canyon State Park - Colorado Parks and Wildlife PLUS the Eldorado Springs Pool, which has had it's own dramatic re-visioning in recent years.

One major change to the Art Center has been making space for Nancy Anderson’s Sweetbird Studio in the main level (See the accompanying picture of Nancy in her new digs). Nancy has been making unique jewelry for over three decades and will be welcoming everyone to her space with a Grand Opening celebration Saturday Oct 4 from 12-5. Alysia Tromblay, a resident artist at the center, will be offering a sound healing workshop Saturday 12:30-2:30. You can learn more about Alysia's background as well as her work with sound Healer Jill Purce of England. https://www.alysiatromblay.com/more-about-me

Zach Johnson, a former resident and mason who has completed many of ESAC's prominent stonework upgrades to the building, will be presenting a workshop called Sacred Earth, Sacred Self from, 9am-12pm. Saturday. Learn more with this event he has created: https://www.facebook.com/share/19sioXxqxY/

There will be Yoga with music with Julia Horn, Sunday in the courtyard 10-11am.
