This is only a test of the tornado warning sirens.

K9 Officer Miller and Officer Veach were recently awarded a Certificate of Appreciation from the Alliance Against Intoxicated Motorists (AAIM) for their efforts in impaired driving enforcement.

Each year, AAIM conducts an annual DUI survey of more than 700 law enforcement agencies across Illinois to recognize officers and departments dedicated to keeping impaired drivers off our roadways.

Every year, hundreds of people lose their lives and thousands more suffer serious injuries in alcohol- and drug-related crashes throughout Illinois. We are proud of Officer Miller and Officer Veach for their commitment to making our community safer and congratulate them on this well-deserved recognition.
