The Town Of Highland will cut the ribbon on Saturday, August 15, at 9 a.m. for a Monarch Waystation Pollinator and Educational Garden being installed Aug. 12-14 as a new roadside educational habitat on Route 97 in the hamlet of Minisink Ford. The garden is located near the half-mile extension of towpath along the Delaware River just south of Roebling's Delaware Aqueduct. It's a joint project of the Town and the Greater Barryville, New York Chamber of Commerce, made possible in part by a Sullivan 180 Municipal Partnership Grant. Installation is being led by Mama Garden Co., with support from Dirt Diva, Delaware Valley Agway, and the Town of Highland Highway Department. TOWN OF HIGHLAND
CLEANING SERVICES WANTED
The Town of Highland is seeking a reliable individual or cleaning company to provide cleaning services for the following Town facilities:
• Town Hall
• Town Courthouse
• Community & Senior Center
• Highway Garage
All four buildings are to be cleaned once per week.
The selected cleaner will be responsible for general janitorial cleaning, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, emptying trash, cleaning restrooms, kitchens/common areas, and other routine cleaning as needed.
Compensation will be based on a lump-sum monthly rate for cleaning all four facilities.
Interested individuals or companies should submit:
• Name and contact information
• Cleaning experience
