Hello Eldridge Family and Friends,

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember the brave men and women of our Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. Freedom is never free, and neither is the peace and safety we often take for granted.

To all who serve, and to those we have lost, we remember you with gratitude, respect, and honor.

Hello Eldridge Family and Friends,

As National Police Week comes to a close, we want to share that for the 2026 National Police Week, the names of 363 fallen law enforcement officers were added to the National Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington, D.C.

These additions include 109 officers killed in the line of duty in 2025 and 254 from previous years, bringing the total number of names on the memorial to 24,775.

The Eldridge Police Department joins all of our brothers and sisters during this time of year to remember those officers that paid the ultimate price for their communities.

Until Valhalla.

Hello Eldridge Family and Friends!
Today, Chief Lellig and SRO Jahns got to spend some time with the students at Children's Choice Early Learning Center - Eldridge each of them learned about when and when not to call 911, how to stay safe at home and to never talk to strangers.

Each of them were sworn in as Junior Police Officers and all of them received an Eldridge Police coloring book to practice what they learned.

It's always a GREAT day when we get to have an opportunity to spend some quality time with the young citizens of our community.
