We are excited to share that we have teamed up with community business owners and Springfield Armory to present this raffle opportunity to anyone who interested and who is legal to carry fi****ms through a NICS background check.

The drawing for the winner of these two fi****ms will be held at the EPD K9 Golf Outing on Saturday, September 26th!

You do not need to be a golfer to enter into this raffle.
You do not need to be present to win.

We want to congratulate Corporal Costas and Corporal Schwertman for completing their first of 3 FBI-LEEDA Supervisory Leadership Institute classes.

The FBI-LEEDA Supervisor Leadership Institute is an intensive 4½-day course focused on leadership, supervision, accountability, communication, and developing effective law-enforcement leaders.

School zones are in full force and in effect on Monday, August 24th.

If you haven't already heard, Muscatine PD captured the shooter. Great job to all agencies involved in the investigation and apprehension!

Muscatine Police Department Officer Involved Shooting

Update 8/17/2026 7:45pm – SUSPECT IN CUSTODY

At 7:32 p.m. today, Muscatine Police took 59-year-old Mark Lee Jackson into custody without incident.

Jackson was located at 1116 Oak Street in Muscatine.

A special thanks to the Iowa DCI and ATF for many long hours put into this case.

We appreciate everyone’s support, patience, and cooperation throughout this investigation.

The Eldridge Police Department extends it's thoughts and prayers to out brothers and sisters at the Muscatine Police Department. We pray the officer makes a full recovery and that nobody else gets hurt before this person is captured.

The subject is Mark Lee Jackson and Muscatine residents are asked to shelter in place.

Hello Eldridge Family and Friends!

Meet Ieva Struckaite. She is from Lithuania! She has come 4,800 miles (14-18 hour flight) to Eldridge Iowa to sell educational books and apps for kids from toddler age all the way up to college prep.

She is a university student who has been fully vetted by the police department and has properly obtained a solicitor permit.

When you see her, please welcome her to our Country and to our fabulous Eldridge Community.
