This week is National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, a time to recognize the people who are often the first voice you hear in an emergency.

Public safety telecommunicators work around the clock 24/7, serving as the critical link between our community and police, fire, and EMS. From answering 911 calls to dispatching the right resources, their role is essential in every emergency response.

We’d like to thank our Laclede Central Dispatch for the work they do every day. We appreciate their professionalism, dedication, and the support they provide to both our crews and the community. 💛

There will be a petition signing November 6th from 11am-5pm at mikes country store. All Eldridge community let’s gather together and get this petition signed so our fire department can stay running to keep serving our community

good evening well as some know the petition for taking the Eldridge fire department is started and has gained some signatures the petition is to if i am correct is to bring a levy of .33 on the $100 of assessed personal property value and if you wish to contact the person to sign the petition or ask questions pm me i will give you a number also looking for places to set up to possibly get signatures again if your able to help
here are what the other tax districts are at
1. Lebanon rural fire .36 on the $100
2.nebo falcon - .30 on the $100
3. competition fire - .30 on the 100
4. bennet springs fire .32 on the$100
now what we know that at .30 these districts are in trouble
with rumors that they are signing deals for aid i have no more information than that and i suggest Laclede county pay attention to your district it could cost you serious dollars this is why we proposed .33 to stay competitive in todays economy

On Sunday night our engine was in a unfortunate roll over accident with two of our members both of our members are ok it was something tragic to our department we are standing together as a family. We are asking for as many prayers as we can get from near and far. There are many things we are dealing with as a department please continue to keep us in your prayers. If you see one of us in town please understand we are not aloud to talk about it at.
