Thank you to Joel Koehn for providing training for some of our Elgin EMS service personnel as well as those attending from Clermont Area Ambulance - Clermont EMTs, Inc.. We covered ATV/UTV, motorcycle, and other equipment trauma scenarios.

Join the Fayette County EMS Association this Wednesday, July 8, at 6:00 PM at the Maynard Fire Station or Thursday July , at 6:00 PM at the Fayette Community Library to learn more about the proposed EMS Essential Service Tax Levy and what it means for Fayette County.

Have questions about why the levy is needed, what it would cost, how the funds would be used, or how it would impact your local EMS service? This is your opportunity to get the facts, ask questions, and share your thoughts.

This is an open community discussion, and everyone is welcome. We encourage all Fayette County residents to attend and be part of the conversation.

Thank you to the Fayette County EMS Association for utilizing grant funding to purchase two new portable suction units. Elgin Ambulance is grateful to have received one of them. It replaces an old, previously used, unit that was donated to us when our service began.

A number of Elgin Ambulance volunteers attended an Emergency Vehicle Driving Class in Fayette hosted by Fayette Ambulance Service. This course was a combination of classroom and practical driving skills.
