Join Ms. Melinda on Thursday April 16th for a virtual Storytime at 10:30 a.m. on The Elgin Public Library page.
The Little Red Hen and Homemade Bread activitie.
You will need the following ingredients:
2 cups flour
3 tsp baking powder
1/3 cup sugar
3/4 tsp salt
1 cup milk
3 tbsp melted butter
1 egg
Mix the dry ingredients then add the wet ingredients. Spray a loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.

Join Ms. Melinda today at 10:30 a.m. for a virtual Story time

Join Ms. Melinda for a virtual storytime Tuesday at 10:30 a.m.
I will be reading Molly the Muffin Fairy
and after storytime we are going to make blueberry muffins.

I have listen 2 recipes choose the one you like.
I will give direction for both recipes
have the kids combine the ingredients
and the mommy will bake.
Have fun take pic and enjoy your yummy snack.

Recipe #1 Keto

3 cups Almond Flour
1 tsp baking powder
2/3 cup sweetener
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup greek yogurt
3 eggs
1 cup blueberries
Liners
makes 10-12 muffins

Recipe #2
1 1/2 cups (all-purpose flour
3/4 cup granulated sugar, plus 1 tablespoon for muffin tops
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 large egg
1/3 – 1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
6 to 8 ounces fresh or frozen blueberries (about 1 cup frozen blueberries)
Liners
makes 10-12 muffins

Oven temp 375
bake 20-25 min
You can have ingredients measured out ahead of time.
