Our Elgin station is incredibly rich with local wildlife, so our team decided that adding some custom birdhouses would be the perfect addition to the grounds!

Six creative individuals stepped up to the challenge to decorate them, and the results were amazing. Please join us in congratulating our three official winners:

Memorial Day is a solemn reminder of those who stood on the line, answered the call, and made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom and safety. To the heroes who never made it home, and to the families who carry their memories, your sacrifice is not forgotten.

We stand in quiet gratitude today, and every day.

Today, during EMS Remembrance Day, we pause to honor and remember the EMS professionals who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to others.

Their dedication, courage, and commitment to caring for their communities will never be forgotten. We also recognize the families, friends, and coworkers who continue to carry their memory forward each day.

As we reflect during National EMS Week, we thank all EMS professionals for their selfless service and remember those who gave everything in the line of duty.

As part of EMS Week today is Save A Life Day, and we’re highlighting the ongoing training and preparation that helps our teams stay ready to respond when it matters most.

Our crews recently focused on Stop the Bleed training. Team members practiced critical wound packing and tourniquet skills that can make a lifesaving difference in emergency situations.

Training like this reinforces the importance of continuous education and hands-on practice in EMS.

As part of EMS for Children Day during National EMS Week, A-TEC Ambulance was proud to participate in the 15th Annual R-Games for Chair-ity event in Elgin hosted by Rieke Interiors.

This fun and competitive event supports Easterseals DuPage & Fox Valley’s Positioning & Mobility Clinic, helping provide specialized equipment such as wheelchairs, standers, adaptive car seats, and more for children with disabilities.

We’re honored to support initiatives that make a meaningful difference for children and families in our community. 💙🚑

Spreading Joy in Our Community! 🌸✨

At A-TEC Ambulance, our mission of care extends beyond the sirens and medical calls. We believe that being part of the community means showing up for our neighbors in every way we can.

Recently, our team had the absolute pleasure of visiting local nursing homes to spend some quality time with the residents. From the high-stakes excitement of calling Bingo to handing out fresh flowers, seeing the smiles on everyone's faces was the highlight of our week!

A huge thank you to the local care facilities for welcoming us with open arms. We’re already looking forward to our next round of Bingo!
