What a special morning it was at our beautiful Elgin Public Library as our weekly Story Hour made its season debut! Those who attended enjoyed a wonderful story, learned about buttons, and didn't leave until they crafted their very own Pete the Cat--buttons and all! Thanks to those who attended, and to Carol and Alaina for once again leading the Story Hour initiative. We hope those with ascending readers make plans now to join us next Wednesday when the focus of our story will be on something small, green--and very hungry!
