Rose Martinez is running for Mayor of Elgin in the April 6, 2027 election!

Join us for a Meet & Greet at American Legion Elgin Post 57 (820 N Liberty St) from 5-8pm on Monday, August 31st.

I'm looking forward to connecting with friends, family, neighbors, and supporters who want to unite for the good of Elgin. Whether you've been with me from the beginning or just getting involved, I'd love to to have you there!

Last Friday, we gathered at Elgin Community College for the screening of Our Stories: Celebrating Hispanic Culture and Community | Nuestras Historias: Celebrando la cultura y la comunidad hispana. I am so grateful to have been a part of this project. Thank you so much to Phil Broxham, Elgin History Museum , and everyone involved who made this film possible.

August has been a busy month already and there's more to come! I had the pleasure of joining the Elgin Police Department in celebrating National Night Out, being part of a Senior Event at Gail Borden Public Library , and gathering for a reunion with my former USPS co-workers.
