Abbott Middle School

I’m incredibly proud of our SALT students who represented Abbott at the U-46 Student Summit! Thank you to Desmond, Mariana, Sofia, and Alejandro for sharing your perspectives and representing our school so thoughtfully. A special thank-you to Legacy sixth graders Aiza and Eduardo for adding their voices, too.

Students discussed belonging, attendance, safety, academic growth, and preparing for the future. Their ideas and experiences matter, and I’m grateful they helped make sure student voices were heard. Way to represent our Warrior family!

As I reflect tonight on our monthly SILT meeting, I am so proud to be the Principal of Abbott! I’m proud of the students we serve and grateful for the amazing staff I get to work alongside every day.

These three staff members have been incredible partners since the beginning of my leadership at Abbott, helping make thoughtful decisions for our students and our building. Getting to know them as people has been just as rewarding as working alongside their brilliant minds. Their ideas, dedication, and care for our school make me excited about what we can accomplish together!

Proud to be an Abbott Warrior! 💙

Our 8th-grade Warriors had an incredible opportunity today to attend EXPLORE at the NOW Arena! #
Students spent the morning learning about different career pathways, future opportunities, and possibilities beyond the classroom through hands-on experiences and conversations with professionals.
Experiences like today are about helping our students begin thinking about an important question: What could my future look like? 💭🌟
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make today possible and to our staff members who supported and supervised our Warriors throughout the experience!
