Crews caught some AWESOME shots of inbound Nightingale yesterday as it made its approach to the helipad adjacent to Sentara Albemarle Medical Center. Nightingale has been in the air since 1982 serving an area that covers Washington DC, many parts of Virginia, and Northeastern NC. SAMC and PCEMS call on Nightingale frequently to get critical patients to the most appropriate medical facility as soon as possible.

Pasquotank County EMS got to spend this Tuesday of EMS Week at Northside Elementary School with our friends from the City of Elizabeth City for their Touch-A-Truck event during National Public Works Week. Each year, the City partners with a local elementary school to host this event. It centers on educating children—our city’s future leaders—about the important work their Public Works staff performs to keep our community running smoothly. We were glad to be a part of this day and show our craft and truck to the children of our community.
