During a recent bridge inspection, the Penneman Avenue Bridge was found to be structurally deficient. Due to this finding, the Township is required to close the Penneman Avenue Bridge to ALL traffic until further notice.

THIS CLOSURE WILL TAKE EFFECT ON THURSDAY, JUNE 25TH, 2026 AT 8:00AM.

Penneman Avenue will be closed at the intersection of Penneman Avenue and Oak Avenue, and at the intersection of Penneman Avenue and Route 51.

We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause our residents, but this is a necessary step to ensure safe roads for all our residents.

The Township will be working with engineers to come up with a solution to this issue.

In the coming days, a detour will be posted. Emergency Services have all been notified of this closure and are taking appropriate steps to mitigate any delays in response time.

**ROAD CLOSURE - 10:15am**

Scenery Drive is closed between Circle Drive and Cowan Drive due to multiple utility poles and wires down on top of occupied vehicles. First Energy has been notified and has given a 1 hour ETA for a response. All motorists are advised to avoid the area until further notice.

Due to several Township-wide power outages, the traffic signals at the Boston Intersection are not working. The Public Works Department has installed temporary stop signs at that location.

Please obey the stop sign law and exercise extreme caution at this intersection.
