BREAKING🚨 A man was choked to death by ICE guards and DHS hid his body at a military base to block the autopsy.

His name was Geraldo Lunas Campos. When the county medical examiner finally performed an autopsy, the conclusion was devastatingly clear: his death was ruled a homicide.

But here is the detail that should make your blood run cold.

When another man recently died at that exact same ICE facility, DHS didn't call the local medical examiner. Instead, they moved his body to a nearby U.S. Army base.

And that Army base is now flat-out refusing to release the results of the autopsy.

This was revealed by Senator Dick Durbin in a horrifying congressional hearing about the explosion of deaths in ICE custody under the Trump administration.

At least 17 people have already died in ICE custody in just the first three months of this year alone. Many of them died from easily treatable illnesses.

911 logs show ICE facilities are completely overwhelmed, ignoring basic human rights.

But moving a body to a military installation to dodge a local homicide investigation? That isn't just negligence. That is a coordinated, state-sponsored cover-up.

They are operating mass detention facilities with zero accountability. They are treating human beings like they are disposable. And when their guards cross the line, they use the full weight of the federal military apparatus to hide the evidence.

We are watching human rights abuses happen on American soil, funded by our tax dollars. We must demand the autopsy report.

Kyle Bassinga, a 21-year-old Georgia State University student who had been reported missing, was reportedly found de*d in a wooded area of Fair Oaks Park in Marietta, Georgia.

Cobb County Police responded to a 911 call on February 18 after reports of a deceased person in the park. Authorities stated there were no signs of foul play and that detectives found no evidence indicating anyone else was involved. The investigation remains open pending the medical examiner’s final autopsy.

Online speculation has circulated regarding the circumstances of his death, but law enforcement officials have emphasized that there is currently no evidence supporting claims of criminal involvement.

Kyle had just celebrated his 21st birthday earlier this month. His family has stated that their focus is on grieving and making arrangements to say goodbye.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to his loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. 💔🕊️🙏

Baby, Bad Bunny started with the people in a sugarcane field… if YKYK. Whew! Hence, this Super Bowl halftime performance was political through symbolism, educating America from history to present. The joy, the pain, the beauty.

He humanized his people from start to finish, showing America that they literally want the same thing: to be free to love who you choose, to live freely without ICE busting into your home while you’re minding your own business, free to get married, and free to dream—even if its to win a Grammy like him.

The music—reggaeton—has deep Indigenous and African roots, so the choreography was fire. I particularly appreciated that he didn’t sing anything in English, and I loved seeing the strong presence of Afro-Latinos too.

America would never exist without all those who came from all the foreign lands, including those in the Caribbean, Africa and Central and South America. Hence, this MF belongs to all of us. He showed that.

This performance was powerful AF. I absolutely loved the Bad Bunny halftime show.

Lewis Latimer and the light bulb story you were never fully taught. Thomas Edison did not single-handedly invent the light bulb. What he helped commercialize was a system. What Lewis Latimer helped make possible was light itself lasting long enough to be useful.

In the late 19th century, early electric light bulbs existed—but they burned out quickly, were expensive, and were impractical for everyday use. Lewis Latimer, a brilliant draftsman, engineer, and inventor, developed an improved carbon filament that made light bulbs last longer, burn more evenly, and become affordable for widespread use. Without a durable filament, a bulb could not function reliably. In simple terms: without the filament, there is no usable light.

Latimer’s work transformed electric lighting from a laboratory curiosity into something homes, streets, and businesses could actually depend on. His designs helped expand electric lighting across cities and made indoor lighting accessible beyond the wealthy.

Ironically, Latimer later worked for Thomas Edison, drafting patents and improving systems at Edison’s company—even though his contributions were rarely highlighted in popular history. Latimer was also one of the only Black members of Edison’s elite engineering team, the Edison Pioneers.

This is not about taking credit away from Edison. It’s about telling the complete story. Innovation is rarely the work of one person. Progress is built layer by layer, often by people whose names history chose to minimize or omit.

Lewis Latimer didn’t just improve the light bulb—he helped light the modern world. And for generations, his contribution remained in the shadows of the very invention he helped illuminate.
