Someone's Daughter is a community based non-profit org directed by a group of women with an ultimate goal to educate, empower and encourage young girls.

We provide wellness, education and career oriented, confidential counseling to our young females and their families. We strive to have "preventative action" programs through our early intervention and "corrective action" programs through our therapeutic and educational counseling. Early intervention programs are designed to arrest the development of mental health, teen pregnancy and/or substance a

buse problems in their early stages before those problems begin to make life altering changes. We have experienced professionals who can help in areas such as:

Prevention and Wellness
Someone's Daughter considers it essential to engage in advocacy as well as educational and support programs which reduce or eliminate those conditions that place young females at risk of developing HIV and STD's and create those conditions which promote good health. Prevention and Wellness Services

Youth Intervention
Is designed for young girls ages 10-14 who are not quite experiencing the major issue affecting the older generation but are still susceptible to conditions of teen pregnancy, addiction, gang violence, and more due to their home and community environment. For our youth intervention program, we strive to have our young girls reach their limitless potential through tutoring, various club activities, theatre arts, recreation, nutrition workshops, and much more.

January Reset, not reinvention. 💭✨

Today’s mentoring session was all about pressing reset — mentally, emotionally, and intentionally. We reflected on what no longer serves us, talked through fixed vs. growth mindset, and helped our girls choose habits that support who they’re becoming.

No pressure to be brand new.
Just space to pause, release, and realign.

And because healing + growth can still be fun… we wrapped it up with a TikTok that had mentors and mentees laughing, bonding, and fully in the moment. 💃🏽🫶🏽

Growth looks good when joy is part of the process.

“Our hearts are shattered, but our love remains.”

Today, we honor the life and light of Jada Simone Sampson, one of our beautiful mentees from Someone’s Daughter Inc. Jada grew through our program with grace, creativity, and compassion that touched everyone she met.

She wasn’t just someone’s daughter she was all of ours.
Her smile, her light, and her presence left fingerprints on our hearts that will never fade.

As we celebrate her life, we lift her family, especially her mother in love and prayer.
