We’re excited to invite you to our Clean & Green Community Day—a fun and meaningful opportunity to come together, spruce up our neighborhood, and make a positive impact on our environment. 💚

🌳 Tree Planting ~ Help us plant new trees at the municipal building—an investment in a greener, healthier future for our community.
🧹 Community Clean‑Ups ~ Join one of our clean‑up teams as we remove litter and refresh areas throughout the neighborhood.

♻️ Drop‑Off Event ~ Bring items you’d like to dispose of responsibly, including:
🗑️ Trash & recycling
💻 Electronics (Free for residents | $5 per item for non‑residents)
🛞 Tires (white walls/sidewalls must be removed)
🧼 Other household items

🚫 Items Not Accepted:
❌ Chemicals or paints
❌ Hazardous waste
❌ Construction or building materials

⚠️ ROAD CLOSURE ALERT ⚠️

The 4300 block of Liberty Way is currently closed between Harrison Road and Veterans Way due to downed utility wires caused by a tractor trailer.

Crews from West Penn Power are on scene and will be working over the next several hours to complete repairs and restore the area safely.

Please avoid the area, use alternate routes if possible, and use caution while traveling nearby. We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation as crews work to resolve the situation safely and efficiently.

🚨 SCAM ALERT – BOROUGH OF LINCOLN 🚨

The Borough of Lincoln Police Department would like to make residents aware that we have recently received a high volume of scam calls and reports involving attempts to obtain personal and financial information from community members.

Many of these calls involve individuals falsely claiming to represent Medicare or other official agencies, such as the Pennsylvania Turnpike, requesting sensitive information over the phone. These scams are designed to create urgency and pressure individuals into responding quickly.

⚠️ Please Remember:
✅ Legitimate organizations will NOT call or text asking for sensitive information such as:
• Medicare numbers
• Social Security numbers
• Banking or credit card information
• Passwords or PIN numbers

🚫 If you receive one of these calls or messages:
❌ Do NOT provide personal or financial information
❌ Do NOT click links or respond to text messages
❌ Do NOT press buttons or follow automated instructions
❌ Do NOT send payment through gift cards, apps, or wire transfers

✅ Instead:
• Hang up immediately
• Delete suspicious texts or emails
• Verify information directly through official phone numbers or websites
• Report suspicious activity if needed

Scammers often rely on fear, urgency, and confusion to trick people into acting quickly. Taking a moment to pause and verify information can help prevent fraud and identity theft.

Please help us spread awareness by sharing this information with family, friends, neighbors, and especially senior citizens throughout the community.

If you believe you may have been targeted or victimized by a scam, please contact your local authorities immediately.
