The Adult Summer Reading Program (ASRP) 2026 kicks off in June, providing adults with a fun and interactive way to learn about community resources, downtown businesses, events, and library services through weekly bingo. Four weekly prize drawings will be held, and a grand prize drawing will take place after the fourth week, featuring all entries. Get your bingo sheet today and start playing to win.

Star Wars fans of all ages are invited to come out to Kiwanis Park at 6:00 pm on Sunday, May 4th, 2025, to enjoy Star Wars themed trivia from Trivia With Budds, Star Wars themed activities, Face Painting with Magic Mirror Skin Art and a screening of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, beginning at dusk.

Join us tomorrow for City of Power Programming during First Friday from 5–8 PM at Crossroads Craftworks! We will be hosting a FREE, family-friendly experience that brings the brand-new City of Power Mural (painted by Jon Murrill) to life through hands-on activities and local history.

Explore, create, and connect at three interactive stations:
🖍️ Coloring sheets featuring the history of the Tweetsie Railroad & the iconic City of Power sign
🧵 Friendship bracelet making inspired by the Rayon industry and its impact on Carter County
🚂 An artifact showcase where you can touch and experience pieces of our past
