Good morning! Today and tommorow we will be sending valentines to our state representatives and senator. These valentines are in appreciation of the continued support of senior centers. General Purpose Funding for senior centers is important to keep our programs active. If you would like to send a valentine expressing your appreciation of our government officials who support senior centers, please drop by the office today or tomorrow and sign one for your government officials.

Safety for seniors is important. Gone are the days when we could leave our doors unlocked without worry of an intruder. Here are a few tips to help keep your home safe. (1) It's a good idea to post no trespassing signs around your home. (2) Purchase security lights for your home to be placed on each corner if possible. (3) If you have a car alarm, this can be activated from inside to deter a suspicious person from breaking in. (4) If you suspect someone is trying to break in, call 911 immediately.
