The Elizabethtown Area Senior Center is an activity center for the well elderly area residents 60+ Structured activities are offered from 9 am-1:30 pm.

The Senior Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am-4 pm. Pinochle, bridge and computer tutoring are scheduled during the afternoon hours from 1-4 pm. Please visit us for coffee, a specific program that interests you or stay for the morning activities. We look forward to meeting you. This program is funded, in part, under an Agreement with money allocated by the PA Dept. of Aging and the Lancaster Co. Office Of Aging. A community service of GEARS.

🍓✨ Strawberry Fest at the Senior Center was a sweet success! ✨🍓

We spent the day celebrating all things strawberry with fun activities, creative crafts, and a round of challenging strawberry trivia that kept everyone thinking (and laughing!).

Our group also got to sample FOUR delicious strawberry-inspired recipes—from sweet treats to fresh savory bites—each one a favorite in its own way. 🍰🥗

To top it all off, everyone went home with special strawberry swag bags as a thank-you for joining in the fun! 🎁

A big thank you to everyone who helped make the day so joyful, tasty, and full of smiles. We’re already looking forward to the next themed celebration!

🎨✨ Craft Club Creativity! ✨🎨
Today our seniors enjoyed another fun afternoon at Craft Club! Using stencils and paint, we transformed simple glass jars into beautiful and unique creations.
There was plenty of laughter, creativity, and artistic talent shared around the table. Fun and creativity were had by all! 💛

🎶✨ A Magical Musical Day Out! ✨🎶

Today we traveled to the Magic & Wonder Dinner Theater for their Jukebox Generations show featuring hits from the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s! 🎤🕺💃

The lunch was delicious, and the show was truly magically musical! Our seniors had a toe-tapping, dancing good time singing along to songs from the decades.

It was a wonderful day filled with music, memories, laughter, and fun! 💛

⏰🚍 Another Great Day on the Road! 🚍⏰

Today was another wonderful adventure for our seniors! We started the day with a visit to the National Watch and Clock Museum, where we explored the fascinating history of watches, clocks, and timekeeping from around the world.

After our tour, we enjoyed a delicious lunch together at Hinkle's Restaurant, sharing good food, great conversation, and plenty of laughs.

Trips like these make for special memories and wonderful time spent together! 💛

🚂🌾 A Wonderful Day at the Strasburg Rail Road! 🌾🚂

Today we enjoyed a lovely trip to Strasburg Rail Road! The rain held off just long enough for us to take in a beautiful scenic train ride through the Lancaster County countryside.

Rolling farmland, peaceful views, and time spent together made for a relaxing and memorable day. Smiles and relaxation were enjoyed by all! 💛

🎉🎂 EVERYBODY’S Birthday Party Fun! 🎂🎉

Today, even with the cold weather, we had a wonderful time celebrating EVERYBODY’S Birthday Party! If you’re turning a year older this year, we celebrated you! 🥳

We enjoyed birthday trivia, played limbo, blew bubbles, and of course—no birthday party would be complete without cake and presents! 🎁🎈

There were smiles, laughter, and plenty of happy memories made. It was a great reminder that you’re never too old to celebrate your special day! 💛

🌞🐞 A Beautiful Day at the Center! 🐞🌞

Today was a beautiful day! We had the joy of watching the preschoolers release ladybugs—such a fun and special moment to share.

We kept the energy going with some Bingocize, getting in a little exercise while having a lot of fun! 🎉💪

Fresh air, movement, and smiles made for a wonderful day! 😊

Spring inspiration was in full bloom today at the Senior Center with Lancaster Creative Factory! Our participants enjoyed a wonderful time getting creative, sharing laughs, and celebrating the beauty of the season through art.

🌳☀️ A Beautiful Day at the Park! ☀️🌳

Today the senior center enjoyed a wonderful day at Governor’s Stable Park! We sang songs with the Singing Nurse, got creative painting rocks, and took a refreshing nature walk.

Most of all, we soaked in the fresh air, sunshine, and great company—it was the perfect day to be outside together! 💚

🌾☀️ A Beautiful Day in Amish Country! ☀️🌾

Today we had so, so much fun at The Amish Farm and House! We toured an Amish home, enjoyed a scenic van ride through the countryside, and wrapped up our day with a relaxing picnic lunch and a visit around the farm.

The weather was perfect, the sun was shining, and the company was even better. Days like this make for wonderful memories! 💛
