On March 19, Bladen County 4-H celebrated their yearly Achievement Night to recognize all our participants and winners from the 2025 year. We started off the night with our 4-H MC’s Trindle Beaver and Aleigha Alley and our special guest speakers: Dr Shameca Battle, NC A&T State University, Regional Extension Director, and Mr. Sam Croom, Bladen County Manager. Next up was the American and 4-H Pledge and dinner. Awards included the Livestock and Poultry Teams, Chicken Project, Turkey Project, Game of Drones Team, Forestry Team, Recordbook Winners, Down East Club, Members of the Year, and Volunteer Recognition. Congrats to all our winners!!

The Bladen 4-H Youth Livestock Skillathon team competed at the state fair contest this past weekend. Congratulations to all our winners! The youth won awards in all sections of the contest including evaluation, quality assurance, and identification/written test.
Junior overall: 1st Elisha, 2nd Ryker, 3rd Gatlin
Intermediate overall: 2nd Aleigha
Senior overall: 6th Trindle, 7th Jason. Our senior team combined with Union County won 2nd place team.
