Media Partner,
Please help us disseminate the following:
We will be assisting with parking at Central Hardin High School during the visitation honoring Firefighter Ryan Druen tomorrow, as well as with the procession following the visitation between Central Hardin and Munfordville.
Visitation for the public will begin at 11:00 AM EST and conclude at 7:00 PM EST at Central Hardin High School. At 7:00 PM, a service of remembrance will be held.
Following the visitation, the procession will exit the parking lot via Bruin Lane, turn right on Ring Road, pass Elizabethtown Fire Station Number 1, continue to St. John Road, turn right on St. John Road, proceed to the US 31W Bypass, turn right on the Bypass, travel to New Glendale Road, turn left on New Glendale Road, continue to US 31W (East Dixie Avenue), pass Elizabethtown Fire Station Number 2, cross the intersection of Lincoln Parkway, and continue southbound on US 31W to Munfordville.
Anyone wishing to pay their respects along the procession route is encouraged to do so, however, we ask that you please do so safely.
For those planning to attend the visitation at Central Hardin, we ask that you enter the parking lot from US 62 and park in the designated open parking spaces. Please be advised that a portion of the parking lot will be reserved for emergency vehicles only. Additionally, a section of the upper parking lot will be roped off during the first half of the visitation due to an ongoing school activity. Once that activity concludes, those parking spaces will become available.
Should overflow parking become necessary, attendees may use the Ring Road Softball Complex parking lot located across from Bruin Lane. If overflow parking is needed, shuttle service will be provided for those parking in the overflow lot. Shuttle service will not begin unless the main parking lot at Central Hardin reaches capacity.
We humbly ask that you continue to remember the family, friends, and colleagues of our friend, Firefighter Ryan Druen in your prayers. His legacy of service, kindness, and friendship will never be forgotten.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Best,
Chris Denham
