What does it mean to be a Panther? 🐾

That’s the question Elizabethtown Independent Schools is working to answer as we begin developing our Profile of a Panther, a community-created vision of what we want every student to know, be able to do, and be like when they leave EIS.

Thursday, EIS administrators and educators partnered with the University of Kentucky Next Generation Leadership Academy to begin this important work. The Profile of a Panther will help define the skills, character traits, and experiences that prepare our students for success in college, careers, military service, and life.

This process will involve students, families, educators, business leaders, alumni, community members, and other stakeholders because we believe the future of EIS should be shaped by the community we serve.

The Profile of a Panther is more than a document. It will become a shared vision that guides learning, leadership, and opportunities for students from their first day of school through graduation.

We look forward to sharing more about this exciting journey and hearing from our community as we work together to define what it means to be a Panther.
