Today the sirens will sound at 10:15 AM ET/9:15 AM CT for the Indiana statewide tornado drill! This is only a test -- no severe weather expected this morning.

When it comes to tornado warnings, it is essential that you are aware and ready to take action. Within Clarity, we have location specific alerts -- that means you are only warned when you're within the warning polygon, not when you're just within the county.

⚠️UPGRADE to level 3/5 severe risk today!

HAZARDS:
-Damaging winds to 60-65mph
-Large Hail up to 1.50" in diameter (Ping Pong Ball Size)
-Several tornadoes, some could be strong in the orange zone

TIMING:
2pm through 11pm ET

DISCUSSION:
Ingredients are becoming increasingly favorable for an all hazards severe weather threat across much of the state. Storm fuel and wind shear are increasing for southern counties, which has further raised concerns for a more scattered to widespread threat of severe weather. While the entire state has a risk today, we are keyed in on the enhanced risk in orange, as a couple strong EF-2+ tornadoes may occur today within this zone in particular.

Have multiple ways to receive warnings. We will be LIVE around 2-3pm ET here on Facebook and YouTube to cover this event in it's entirety with both storm chasers in the field and radar updates.
