We have received such a warm welcome from the Elizabethtown community, and we couldn't be more grateful!

Now, we'd love to return the kindness by inviting our neighbors to join us on August 26 at CHS Elizabethtown, located at 130 Alida Street. Come meet our team and learn more about our vision for the center as we prepare for our official opening in Summer 2027.

This work has been rescheduled to the week of August 17th.
ROADWORK NOTICE
Bossler Road from Bainbridge Road (Route 241) to Maytown Road (Route 743) is scheduled to receive an oil and chip seal surface treatment during the week of August 3rd. Exact dates are fluid and weather depend at this time. If your normal travels take you through this area, please consider taking other routes if possible.
Please see the Public Works section https://www.westdonegaltwp.gov/publicworks of our website for more information on why the township uses this method to maintain the more rural and lightly traveled roads in our township.

WORD TO THE WISE
Road Closed means ROAD CLOSED, do not enter. The number of occurrences of motorists ignoring road closed barricades seems to be on the rise. We know it's inconvenient but we close roads from time to time so that our public works team can work on them as safely as possible. We also do it for your safety as well.
Please note that our trucks and equipment are being equipped with dash cameras and our team is quick on the draw with their cellphones. If you ignore a Road Closed barricade and drive through one of our construction details, we will take your picture and report you to the Northwest Regional Police Department.

July 🤝 Severe weather

July is one of the most active months for severe weather. We can typically expect a variety of hazardous conditions including damaging winds, tornadoes, large hail, flooding and flash flooding. Severe weather can happen at any moment. Stay prepared with these tips:

🔹 Create a communications plan with your family before severe weather hits
🔹 Have emergency supplies in place at home, at work, and in the car
🔹 Listen to local officials
🔹 Check your insurance policies to ensure you have enough coverage
🔹 Evacuate if advised by local authorities
🔹 When thunder roars, go indoors
🔹 Turn around, don’t drown. Stay away from flooded areas and never try to drive through water
