Hardin County AM Rotary Club

Hardin County AM Rotary Club As a Rotarian, a member is guided by the principles which can be found in the Four Way Test.

The Four-Way Test is a nonpartisan and nonsectarian ethical guide for Rotarians to use for their personal and professional relationships. The test has been translated into more than 100 languages, and Rotarians recite it at club meetings:

Of the things we think, say or do

1.Is it the TRUTH?
2.Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3.Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
4.Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

We were honored to have Beth Avey speak to the Hardin County Rotary Club last Friday about the PinkDot Project through Heels Together. 💗

Beth shared how the PinkDot donation box program collects period products and distributes them to local schools and organizations so they can reach girls and young women in need. For many families, the cost of these essential items can be a real hardship, and this program is making a difference right here in our community.

Thank you, Beth, for the important work you and Heels Together are doing to help end period poverty in Hardin County! 💕

If you know of a high-traffic business or facility that would like to participate as a collection site, please reach out to Heels Together or the PinkDot Project!

We finished hanging the side panels to the Pole Building at Wesley Hilltop House. Friday evening, 5/15 with the help of members Scott Turner and Patrick Clark, angles were cut on the panels to fit the back end gable. Saturday, 5/16, members, Rick Walters, David Larkin, Scott Kisselbaugh, Todd Edlin and volunteers Randall Clauson and Phil Weis permanently attached the back panels and and cut angles to attach the front panels. This project is being done in partnership with Hardin County Habitat for Humanity in conjunction with a grant awarded by Rotary district 6710.
