We’re asking for a little help for this handsome guy! ♥️ He is desperately in need of a dental, and his treatment is estimated to cost around $150.

Every dollar helps and goes directly toward getting him the veterinary care he needs! 🐶💕

📢 EARLY CLOSING NOTICE 🐾

The Elk City Animal Shelter will be closing at 11:30 AM on Friday, August 14th.

Please plan any visits, adoptions, or other shelter business accordingly. Also use this as a reminder to trip any traps and not reset until Sunday night. Animal Control will be available for only animal emergency situations then return to normal shelter operations Monday morning.

Meet Koda!

Koda was adopted as a puppy in September of last year.
Unfortunately, she was surrendered today at no fault of her own.
Koda is spayed, current on her rabies vaccination, and microchipped so her adoption fee is completly covered.

Her previous owner stated she was housetrained, crate trained, and knows commands sit, stay, and come. She has never been housed with other animals but is willing to attend a meet and greet. Koda is also used to living her life mostly indoors.

If your interested in meeting Koda she can be visited at 1022 S Main. Monday - Friday 9AM-4PM

Update: ADOPTED!!!

Meet Rascal

Adopted as a puppy back in May of 2022.
Rascal went missing shortly after his adoption and a year later found running loose where he was brought back to the shelter and then returned to his adopted home.

Rascal has a long rap sheet with the shelter and it’s really no fault of his own because a three foot fence was never adequate for this husky mix because after all…. Rascal just wants to have fun.

Rascal has been at the shelter since July 1st and his known owners never showed up for him 😭. Rascal is considered one of our longest stays & he desperately needs a new home that can match his loyalty. ♥️ 🐾

🐾 Rascal is good with other dogs
🐾 backs down to a hissing cat
🐾 neutered
🐾 microchipped
🐾 knows how to sit pretty
🐾 loves car rides
🐾 good with children.

ACO willing to cover his adoption fee! Were FULL!

Available for Foster with an approved home.
