Don’t let floaties fool you. Water wings and puddle jumpers can make kids feel confident—but they’re not life-saving devices. And they don’t replace your eyes on the water. Always choose a Coast Guard-approved life jacket. Stay alert, stay close, and stay distraction-free.

Knowing when to breastfeed your baby can be challenging. Watch for these early signs of hunger:
1. Sucks on hands and fingers
2. Opens and closes mouth
3. Moves arms and legs a lot
4. Turns head from side to side, looking for the breast

Crying is a late sign of hunger. By responding to these early signs of hunger, you can prevent a crying baby and have a more effective feeding.
