Social Media Comment Policy

The Pavilion Aquatics Center houses an Olympic-sized indoor main pool, zero-depth lagoon pool with interactive features, 72-foot water slide, warm water therapy pool, whirlpool, steam room, and an outdoor seasonal swimming pool. Comments containing any of the following content shall not be permitted on the Park District social media sites and are subject to removal and/or restriction by the Admini

strator or his/her designees at any time and without prior notice:
a. Comments not related to the original topic, including random or unintelligible comments;
b. Content that promotes, fosters, or perpetuates discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, age, religion, gender, national origin or other protected class;
d. True threats of violence;
f. Solicitation of commerce, including but not limited to advertising of any business or product for sale;
g. Conduct in violation of any federal, state, or local law;
h. Encouragement of illegal activity;
i. Information that may tend to compromise the safety or security of the public or public systems;
j. Content that violates a legal ownership interest, such as a copyright or trademark;
k. Spam or links to malware or viruses
2. A comment posted by a member of the public on any Park District social media site is the opinion of the commenter or poster only, and publication of a comment does not imply endorsement of, or agreement by, the Park District, not do the comments necessarily reflect the opinions or policies of the Park District.
3. The Park District reserves the right to deny access to Park District social media sites for any individual who violates the Park District’s social media policy, at any time and without prior notice.
4. Departments monitor their social media sites for comments requesting responses from the Park District and for comments in violation of this policy; however, please be advised that Park District social media sites are not monitored 24/7 and that responses and comment moderation may not be immediate.
5. All comments posted to any Park District Facebook site are bound by the platform's terms of service, including Facebook’s Statement of Rights and Responsibilities, located at http://www.facebook.com/terms.php.
6. Users who enter private or personal information on Park District social media sites do so at their own risk, and the Park District is not responsible for any damages resulting from the public display of, or failure to remove, private or personal information.
7. Content posted on the Park District social media sites may be subject to disclosure under the Illinois Freedom of Information Act and retention under the Local Records Act.
8. This policy and terms of use may be amended from time-to-time, without further notice.

Programs: Klara K

Klara is always on top of her lessons and helps out the Head Instructors whenever she can. Her customer service is excellent and is always willing to talk with parents when she can!

Operations: Lana H

Lana is great at adjusting to whatever comes up on shift, she will stay late or come ine arly if a friends needs help getting a shift covered. She's kind, and she has rally stepped up at InService recently. Her Managers say she is not afraid to give it her all, and does great on evals.

Please join me in congratulating our February Employees of the Month:

Programs: Danny R

Danny has received so many compliments from parents whose children are in swim lessons and we regularly get requests for Danny to be a child's Private Lesson Instructor. This past month, he even received a thank you card from a family who were so grateful for his help teaching their child to swim. Additionally, Danny is always helpful on shift and tries to help his coworkers out by picking up sib shifts for them frequently

Operations: Peter B

The Pool Managers have nominated Peter because of his positive attitude, how he goes out of his way to help out frequently, his great skills, and how he volunteered to leave Guard Class and attend another day so a friend could come to class instead of working.

Emma has been complimented by many patrons for her customer service and her teaching skills. She has also been super helpful with picking up shifts when she can to help out the team. She is a great team mate to everyone!

Operations: Hailey S

Hailey's Pool Managers have noticed how helpful she has been lately. She stepped up her game at a recent Guard Recertification, helping mentor younger guards with their skills. And Our Aqua Wellness team complimented her on her increased Customer Service and Cashiering skills during our midday shifts.

Programs: Carolyn O (Stingrays Coach)

During our most recent Swim Team survey, Carolyn received many compliments from our parents saying how great of a coach she is. Carolyn knows all of the kids strengths and weaknesses with their strokes. She also knows what events they would do great in for lineups and that is a huge help!

Operations: Julian V (Lifeguard)

Julian has really been stepping up and putting a lot more effort in lately. The Pool Managers see his growth and noticed his leadership during inservice especially this month. He is a reliable guard who leads by example.
