Elk Grove Township will be hosting a FREE Shredding Event on Saturday, September 12, at the RecPlex (420 Dempster Street, Mount Prospect, IL) from 9AM-12PM.

Up to two banker's boxes per person allowed. This is a great opportunity to safely dispose of sensitive documents!

Did you know Elk Grove Township provides temporary handicap placards valid for up to six months? To qualify, you'll need a completed form from your physician and a valid state ID or driver’s license.

Forms are available on our website or can be picked up at the Township's east entrance (600 Landmeier Rd).

Chronic loneliness has been linked to:

- Weakened immune function and more

In a world where we're more connected online than ever before, many people still feel isolated. Reaching out to a friend, joining a community group, volunteering, or speaking with a mental health professional can be important first steps toward reconnecting.

📣 Rescheduled Open Ride Dates!

The August 15 Bike Safety Open Ride has been rescheduled to Wednesday, August 26, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, and Saturday, September 26, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. Please note that these events will be Open Rides only, with no class instruction.

Saturday, September 26, will be the final Open Ride of the season, so don't miss your last chance to ride with us this year! Bike Safety Classes and Open Rides will return next spring.
