Elk Grove Unified School District (EGUSD) welcomes the community’s contributions to its official page (e.g. This Facebook site intends to inform and engage with EGUSD students and their families, staff, residents and other interested persons to provide current and useful information regarding district programs, activities and operations. Such information shall be appropriate for both internal and external audiences. The intent of this policy regarding participation on EGUSD’S official page is to maintain a positive and informative flow of communication while protecting the privacy and rights of our community. With these aims in mind, posting on EGUSD’s official page constitutes acceptance of the following terms of use and protocols:

• Participants are encouraged to submit comments, questions and concerns; however, EGUSD’s official page is a moderated online discussion site that constitutes a limited forum, the contents of which are at the discretion and control of EGUSD;

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS PREFERRED. If you prefer paying cash, please fill out the back of the flyer that was sent home with your student. You do not need to fill out the back of the flyer if you registered online. Cash should be sent to your students TEACHER, not the front office.

Students may bring one blanket and one pillow. Extra snacks are welcome, but please no candy. Students must remain in the multipurpose room for the duration of the movie. Students being picked up will be dismissed at the MP room doors. Remember to review the behavior expectations with your students.

Friday, October 17th is Donner’s Multicultural Spirit Day. Students and staff are encouraged to wear cultural clothing to school! The clothing can represent your child’s personal culture or showcase a different culture they have learned about! Students may also wear their Donner spirit wear. All classes will attend a Donner Spirit Rally. This special spirit rally will feature music and a cultural fashion show.

If parents and/or students are interested in participating in the Around the World fashion show, please fill out the form linked below by Tuesday, October 14th! Forms will not be accepted after Tuesday.

TK and Kindergarten students must have a parent or caregiver to walk with them across the stage to participate.
