A new addition to our Fall Carnival this year is the Clothing Swap. This is the time of year when we all realize our kids have grown out of their clothes from last year. Don't toss them in a bag in the garage where they'll sit for months gathering dust! Bring them to the office between now and October 23rd and they'll be part of our first Clothing Swap. The Swap will be open during the Fall Carnival for anyone to browse and find treasures that actually fit your kids! Please make sure all garments are clean and gently used. Any donations left over after the swap will be donated to families in need.

Don’t forget! Our annual sock hop is this Thursday from 5:30-7pm. Buy your tickets on the PTA website below. Also, the membership contest is still going, the class with the most members will get a pizza party and the second and third place classes with get popsicles! Join us TONIGHT, September 10th at 6pm at South Slope Winery for our next PTA meeting. We'll be discussing the upcoming Sock Hop & Book Fair, including a number of volunteer opportunities for these events. We'll get into plans for The Fall Festival and would love your input & ideas to make it the best one yet!

Hope everyone has had a good first couple of days of school. Just a reminder, our first PTA meeting of the year is TONIGHT at South Slope from 6-7. It is also our first Dining for Dollars fundraiser of the year. Let someone else do the cooking tonight and help raise money for our school. Our PTA will get a portion of sales from 5 to close, so make sure you let them know you're with PGES PTA when you order tonight!
