🏁🚐 Mobile Outreach Pit Stop: The Pardes Apartments! 🩷

Last week, our Mobile Outreach Unit made another pit stop at The Pardes Apartments in Elk Grove, bringing essential resources directly to families where they live.

As we transition to our fully mobile model, we're proud to continue meeting families where they are and providing essentials like diapers, wipes, formula, children's clothing, and other resources to families in our community.

A special thank you to the City of Elk Grove and Councilmember Rod Brewer for supporting our community and helping make outreach like this possible. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our van! We're honored to serve you and look forward to seeing you at our next pit stop. 🚐

📢 Important Community Update 🩷

As we begin this exciting new chapter, Chicks in Crisis is officially closed at the Ranch for all services and donations.

🚐 Our Mobile Outreach Unit is now the primary way families can receive services and donors can support our mission.

While our location has changed, our mission remains the same: to provide hope, essential resources, and support to families throughout Sacramento, Elk Grove, and surrounding communities.

🏁🚐 National Night Out Recap! 🩷

Our Mobile Outreach Unit made two special pit stops yesterday for National Night Out at Southwind Court Apartments and Breckenridge Village Apartments!

It was an evening filled with connection, resources, and community as we met families where they are and provided essential items to those who need them most.

This is the Sacramento TOT Grant Program at work,bringing essential resources directly into our neighborhoods and expanding access to families who need it most.🩷

Thank you to our incredible community partners, residents, volunteers, and everyone who stopped by to say hello. Every conversation, every smile, and every family served reminds us why we do what we do.

While families visited us for diapers, wipes, clothing, hygiene items, and other essentials, generous donors walked through our doors with boxes of hope,making it possible for us to continue serving the next family in need.

Although our time serving families at the Ranch has come to an end, our mission is just getting started. We’re excited for this next chapter as we continue meeting families where they are through our Mobile Outreach Unit across Sacramento, Elk Grove, and surrounding communities.

As we wrapped up our last day at the Ranch, our hearts were filled with gratitude. Thank you to every client, donor, volunteer, and community member who stopped by to celebrate this chapter with us. Your generosity and support have meant the world to our team and the families we serve.

We've also received many questions about where to donate items we aren't able to accept due to safety and liability guidelines. If you have items like cribs, bassinets, car seats, high chairs, or other baby equipment, consider joining your local Buy Nothing Facebook group. Your donation could be the biggest blessing to a family in your own community.
