We ask for a monetary donation per 4000 gallon load of water. Not only does this service help you out, it also provides training for our members on water shuttle & tender operations, apparatus backing/placement, laying hose, pumping from a tender, plus much more.

We ONLY fill pools that are located WITHIN the TOWN OF WHEATON.

It's EMS Week!

In 1974, President Gerald Ford authorized EMS Week to celebrate EMS practitioners and the important work they do in our nation's communities. National Emergency Medical Services Week brings together local communities and medical personnel to honor the dedication of those who provide the day-to-day lifesaving services of medicine's frontline. EMS Week is presented by the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) in partnership with the National Associations of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT). Together, NAEMT and ACEP lead annual EMS Week activities. These organizations are working to ensure that the important contributions of EMS practitioners in safeguarding the health, safety and well-being of their communities are fully celebrated and recognized

Now, the department out of that hard-to-find resource and is looking to find the individuals responsible so that it doesn't happen again.

Looking for information to identify the individuals that vandalized the vehicles used for training at the fire station. Thanks to your actions we will no longer be able to provide valuable training with these hard to find resources.
If you know who these individuals were please let us know as we would like to have a chat with them.

Today was a beautiful day for training! WFR members, along with personnel from Township Fire Department - Eau Claire, WI and Elk Mound Fire District participated in extrication training using scenarios involving a semi tractor vs passenger car collision. Special thanks to Chippewa Towing & Transport, Hook 'N' Go, LLC, and Pilgrim's Pride for providing and towing the vehicles used today.
