On June 16th, 2026, we delivered a Spartan Custom Chassis to S&R Truck in Marshfield. This chassis was bought in July of 2024 with plans of having it built into a rescue engine, which combines a standard engine with the heavy equipment storage of a rescue truck. With an estimated spring of 2028 completion, it will become our first out engine, replacing a 30+ year old truck. This is going to be a huge upgrade for the department and the community we protect and serve. We look forward to the completion and would like to thank the community for their continued support.

If you see us in a truck or on a call with a beer can in our hand, don't worry! We were awarded a grant that we received on June 19th, 2026, of 2,300+ cans of water delivered by Park Ridge Distributing, Anheuser-Busch’s local wholesaler partner. The donation will help ensure firefighters have access to clean, safe drinking water while responding to wildfires and other emergencies.

Anheuser-Busch has a longstanding tradition of providing support for disaster relief efforts dating back to 1906. Each year, its breweries in Cartersville, Georgia and Fort Collins, Colorado periodically pause beer production to produce emergency drinking water for times of need.

Anheuser-Busch partnered with the NVFC in 2019 and, together with its wholesaler partners, has supported volunteer fire departments with nearly 12 million cans of emergency drinking water through over 3,700 deliveries across almost all 50 states.

“Emergency responses, especially during wildfire season, place significant physical demands on our firefighters,” said Chief Blaskowski. “Having access to emergency drinking water helps protect the volunteers health, maintain endurance, and keep them mission-ready when our community needs them most. We’re grateful to Anheuser-Busch, Park Ridge Distributing and the National Volunteer Fire Council for providing this resource that directly supports firefighter safety and operational readiness.”

The NVFC is the leading nonprofit association representing the interests of volunteer fire, EMS, and rescue services across the U.S., with a mission to support volunteer responders and the communities they serve.
