A wonderful day yesterday! I’m sure we will forget someone but a HUGE thank you to the following for making yesterday possible;

Just one week away from our town event here in Elk Mountain on Saturday September 5th! Join us for a Parade at 10 am down Main Street (lineup at 9:30 am at Elk MTN. Fire Hall). Kids games with prizes and a horseshoe tournament from 11 am to 3 pm (horseshoe tournament cots $20 per team. 1st place team wins two $75 dollar gift cards 2nd place wins two $25 dollar gift cards). A free carry-in potluck lunch at noon (bring a side dish for all to enjoy). And from 3 pm till 9 pm come enjoy live music, food, and an bar at The Historic Elk Mountain Hotel for the 2nd Annual Garden Spot Music Festival! See you all next Saturday!

Getting the horseshoe pitts ready for our horseshoe tournament which is part of our event on Saturday September 5th. Sign up for tournament is in the Park from 11 am to 11:45 am. $20 per team all proceeds go to Elk Mountain Park Board. 1st place team wins two $75 visa gift card and 2nd place team win two $25 visa gift cards! Just a little under two weeks till our event here on Saturday, September 5 in Elk Mountain. The park board in conjunction with The Historic Elk Mountain Hotel will have a day of fun and entertainment for all to come and enjoy! A parade at 10 AM, kids games and a horseshoe tournament with cash prizes and a free carry-in potluck lunch at the park from 11 AM to 3 pm, followed by the second annual Garden Spot Music Festival at the Hotel all available!
