What a great Night to Unite! 🚒❤

We kicked off the day spending time with the wonderful residents of Guardian Angels Senior Living, where we had the pleasure of serving lunch, sharing conversations, and enjoying time together.

In the evening, we visited several neighborhood Night to Unite gatherings, bringing the fire trucks along for everyone to explore! It was a fantastic evening meeting resident, answering questions, visiting with families, and strengthening the relationships that help make the community safer and stronger.

Thank you to everyone who invited us to be part of your celebrations. We always appreciate the opportunity to connect with the people we proudly serve!

Last night, we had the opportunity to recognize and celebrate several members of our department for their dedication, commitment, and service to our community.

Chief Dickinson was honored for 8 years of service to the department. Thank you for your leadership, hard work, and the countless hours you've devoted to serving our community. Your dedication continues to make a positive impact on both our department and the people we serve.

We also recognized Deputy Chief Smith for an incredible 38 years of service. Nearly four decades of commitment and sacrifice is an extraordinary achievement. Thank you for your unwavering dedication and for the example you've set for generations of firefighters. Your years of service have helped shape our department into what it is today.

Finally, congratulations to Chad Yess on his well earned promotion to Lieutenant! This promotion reflects your hard work and commitment to the department. We look forward to seeing you excel in your new leadership role and know you'll continue to serve our members and community with pride.

Please join us in congratulating Chief Dickinson, Deputy Chief Smith, and Lieutenant Chad Yess on these well deserved recognitions and accomplishments. Thank you all for your continued service and dedication to our department and the community we are honored to protect.

🎆Spent fireworks can stay hot long after the show is over. Soak them in water for 24 hours, place them in a plastic bag, then dispose of them in your regular trash.

Preventing a fire is as simple as:
💧Soak them.
🛍️Bag them.
🗑️Trash them.

Have a safe and happy Independence Day!

Although we hope never to put this training to real use, we recently had the opportunity to practice bus extrication. Thank you to Collins Brothers Towing Inc “The Original” for allowing us to use their bus, train at their facility and for the wonderful dinner they provided for our team.
